Marketing Manager
Marketing & Communications · Full-time
Reykjavík, Iceland
Do you want to help keep the power on?
Laki Power, based in Reykjavík, develops a range of LKX products for monitoring high-voltage transmission lines, built on a patented power-harvesting technology that draws energy from the line. We have customers across four continents and closed a Series A round in September 2026 led by the NATO Innovation Fund.
We're looking for a hands-on marketing manager to build and run Laki Power's marketing: a super user of modern content and AI tools, who turns what our devices see on the grid into stories that reach grid operators worldwide.
Marketing at Laki Power starts in the field. Almost everything we have to show comes from high-voltage lines in remote, demanding environments: images and video from our devices, data from a growing fleet, and a drone system in the making. You'll join the Sales & Marketing team and own how that story reaches the market, from strategy and budget to the material our sales meetings run on. Expect some international travel to conferences and customers.
Your role
- Own the marketing plan, messaging, brand and budget.
- Generate leads: campaigns, email nurture, SEO and digital advertising, with automated workflows behind them.
- Create marketing content end to end, text, graphics and video, with modern production and AI tools.
- Run our website and social media: the content, the cadence and the automation.
- Product marketing: launches, product sheets, and competitor and market research.
- Find, plan and prepare our participation in conferences and trade shows, including the material and logistics.
- Develop presentation material for sales meetings, and turn customer relationships into case studies, video and data stories.
- Measure what works, with KPIs and reporting, and handle PR and media.
Qualifications
- B2B marketing experience, ideally with technical or industrial products, including ownership of a marketing plan and budget.
- Highly proficient at producing content, including video, with hands-on experience automating marketing workflows using AI tools.
- Experience with lead generation: campaigns, email nurture, SEO or digital advertising.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with content production at a professional level.
- Comfortable working close to sales: presentation material, sales meetings and customer-facing content.
- An organised self-starter who works independently and takes ownership, and a strong team player with engineers, sales and customers.
- Experience from the energy, utilities or infrastructure sector is a plus.
Our team
We are focused on building a team that is diverse in age, gender and fields of expertise, and we welcome applicants of every background. If this role excites you, we'd love to hear from you, even if you don't tick every box.
